The Dairyland Soybean plant breeding effort in Iowa recently moved from leased facilities in Gilbert (1996) to a new, state of the art facility and location just east of Ames (2011). The new site is officially identified as a Dow AgroSciences research station and is used for both hybrid corn and soybean breeding. This new site and additional personnel will enable the testing and breeding capacity to double over the next three years.
